OBRN Opportunity | Blackfeet IHS | Montana

Location: Blackfeet Indian Health Service (IHS), Montana.
Taxable Rate: $55.00/hr.
Blended Rate (Including Per Diem): $89.61/hr.
Weekly Compensation: $3,226/week.
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Available).
License Requirement: Any State RN License Accepted.

Job Description:

Blackfeet Indian Health Service is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (OBRN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in an Obstetrics setting. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
Provide postpartum care and patient education.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Respond effectively in emergency situations involving maternal and neonatal patients.
Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.

Requirements:

Active RN License from any U.S. state.
OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or fetal monitoring may be required based on facility needs.
Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
